The North Harbour rugby team is a professional rugby team that competes in New Zealand's Bunnings NPC competition. The team is also affiliated with the Blues Super Rugby Pacific franchise.

The history of the North Harbour rugby team dates back to 1985, when the North Harbour rugby union was formed. Ever since then, the North Harbour rugby team has competed in the National Provincial Championship, which is now known as the Bunnings NPC.
Since they joined the tournament, the North Harbour rugby team have never been crowned as the overall champions of the National Provincial Championship. However, they have won several titles during this time. They were crowned as the winners of the third division in 1985 and the winners of the championship division in both 1987 and 2016.
Today, the North Harbour rugby team competes in the championship division of the Bunnings NPC. Their home games are held at North Harbour Stadium, which holds 25,000 fans.
Although the North Harbour rugby team competes in the championship division of the Bunnings NPC, the team's current squad does still contain several current and former All Blacks, including Dillon Hunt and Karl Tu'inukuafe.
In addition to this, the current North Harbour rugby squad also contains several stars of Super Rugby Pacific. This includes Bryn Gatland who represents the Chiefs, Bryn Hall who represents the Crusaders, and Henry Taefu who represents the Force.
