Racing 92 are now a powerhouse of French rugby. Although they missed their Top 14 target by one year, they qualified for the Heineken Cup (now the European Rugby Champions Cup) in 2010-11 and they’ve never looked back. Since they entered the Top 14 in 2009, the side have never been relegated. They even won the competition in 2016. Plus, since they first qualified for the Heineken Cup, they’ve appeared in every edition of the competition. They have also finished as the runners-up in the tournament on three occasions (2015-16, 2017-18 and 2019-20). However, Racing 92 are yet to lift the most prestigious trophy in European rugby.
But, due to the team’s recent success, there are a number of international and ex-international players in the Racing 92 squad. For example, Australia centre Kurtley Beale, Scotland fly-half Finn Russell and France hooker Camille Chat are all in the current Racing 92 squad.
