Read on to discover even more about Sale Rugby Club. On this page, you'll find all the upcoming Sale Sharks fixtures and results as well as all the latest news about the club.

Since Sale Rugby Club have been known as the Sale Sharks, the side has been largely successful. In fact, since the launch of the Premiership, Sale Rugby have never been relegated from the top flight. However, although the team has been competitive during this period, they've only won the Premiership title once, in 2005-06. They've also finished second in the table once and reached the semi-finals of the play-offs once.

In addition to this, the Sale Rugby team have also been a runner-up in the Anglo-Welsh Cup (now the Premiership Cup) on three occasions and they've won the Premiership Cup in 2019-20. On top of this, they've also won the European Rugby Challenge Cup on two occasions (2001-02 and 2004-05). However, in the European Rugby Champions Cup, Sale Rugby Club have never progressed beyond the quarter-finals stage.

Due to the team's success in the Premiership and the Heineken Cup in Europe, Sale Rugby Club have always attracted international-calibre players. Currently, several top international stars play for the club, including England players Tom Curry and Manu Tuilagi.
